I think my partner who is Australian (shock horror) is getting tired of me. I sound like a stuck record at the moment. “What an amazing day hey babe, Cape Town is the best! I mean look at it! I had the GREATEST ride, it was just beautiful! Did you see that sunset/sunrise/mountain glow/view?! Incredible. I LOVE this city!”
Coming as she does from Sydney, she nods and says yes dear, Cape Town is beautiful. Bless her. I don’t believe she is saying it with passion though so I will continue to harp on.
